Professor Miroslav Fikar (STUBA) took part at a workshop entitled “Advanced Materials & Processes and Artificial Intelligence for Sustainability” held in Regensburg, Germany, March 22-23, 2023. The workshop was aiming at initiating consortia and applications in the European funding program “Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions: Doctoral Networks”. It was organised by the Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR), the Bavarian Academic Center for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe (BAYHOST) and the Bavarian-Czech Academic Agency (BTHA). The program consisted of an information session with questions & answers. Sessions with pitch talks given by workshop attendees and by best-practice examples of successful running or past projects.

On March 22, he delivered a pitch talk on a proposal “Data-Based Process Control and Estimation” to address possible future cooperations stemming from the FrontSeat project either for MSCA or for RIA (Research and innovation action) calls.

On March 23, he delivered an invited lecture “How to Write Successful MSCA IF Proposal” that discussed the finished MSCA individual fellowship project GuEst.
